Out sailing...!
but its not why i have that headline:) because tomorrow we go sailing for real.. we are sailing on a boat around the Whitsunday islands, what i heard shold be very beautiful and awesome! so i am looking forward!

Its all about animals...!
yeah, and this time i am not talking about mosquitoes :)
today we seen a lot of diffrent animals..
we started the day by doing like a buchwalk or wildlife walk...
first we saw a turtle called Kevin.. then we saw two diffrent kind of birds, we got to hold one of them, he was called shade and was quite big... he also gave us a kiss!! :) nice bird..! (mum: not the one that you have to be afraid of.. ) the other bird was called captain.
Then we countuined and meet some crocodile, we got to hold one of them aswell and even this one gave me kiss!! friendly animals!! ;)
What we had been looking forward to see was the animal that we saw after the crocodile.. the koala!!!
We had the chance to hold the koala, and its actually more heavy then you think..anyway Barnie was very cute, like a teddybear!!
We also meet a snake that of course i had around my neck:)
And last we meet a wollabe, she was just a baby, very cute..
After this "animal shock" we went laying at pool for the afternoon, the sun is with us again, lovely!
About 16.00 we saw that the were feeding some birds, looking like small parrots, very beautiful, and because today was all about animals, we went there, got some bird food in our hands and suddenly we had like 4 birds on us each, sitting on our arms and heads, eating... really cool..!
so, this island has a lot of animals (plus all the beatles, geckos and other small creatures that you find everywhere, including in your bed, bathroom and kitchen ;) )
I also got to know today why this mosquitoes like me so much, what i heard is that if you are from europe or a place with colder climate, the like you more than if you are from a warmer climate, because of your bloodtemprature or something :) doesnt know if its true, but make sence to me, i have soo many bites.. right now on my right hand i have 7 bites, crazy!!!
Anyway, like this island a lot!! but tomorrow we continue to Arlie Beach and on sunday we go sailing on Whitsunday!! looking forward!!

My little elephant hand...!
Thats exactly how my hand looks like right now, i will tell you why later..
So we arrived to Mission Beach yesterday lunch... and it was raining, hellraining!!!
se went from the geryhound bus into a smaller shuttlebus who took us to teh hostel.. we went like 7 km in the middle of nowhere in the rainforest!
this hostel is really cozy and nice, if it would stop raining.. because there is not so much to do out here!!
And its A LOT of mosquitoes biting me!!! thats why my hand is so swollen, it looks like and elephant foot, but its my hand ;) you undertsand what i mean!!!
so right now we been taking a shower in insectspray for the last two days :) hihihi, but it dosent matter, we are out in the bush anyway!!
But the rain hasnt stoped yet so we decided this morning to leave one day eailier to hopefully catch the sun at Magnetic island instead and watching some koalas :)
it not that wired its raining maybe, we are in the rainforest!! big trees, in the middle of nowhere, rain = rainforest?!
anyway, yesterday evening was really nice, meet some new pepole and sat chatting and playing games the whole evening!! really nice! Hopefully we will meet those people in Airlie Beach again!!
so next time i write i will be in Magnetic Island probably..!
no i have to leave because, AJJJJJJJJ teh mosquitoes are biting me!!! (Has to be because i am so sweet...!)

Last day in Cairns...!
Wlin and i was talking about that yesterday, some of the firends we meet along the trip is soon going home, and that wired.. but then we realize the time will go so fast and its will be time for us aswell to go home.. but still more then 2 months left, puhh!!!
Yesterday evening its start raining with thunders and lightnings, its was cool! the sky went pink :)
but its was over this morning and its cloudy today, teh temperatures is maybe 28 or something, so still not cold!! :)
today we been to teh mall in the morning, found a new bikini, always good tyo have a spare one when we use the bikini so much here!! hihihi
the also went bying colouring books :P we realize we dorn have the energy to concentrate all the time ready a book, so now we can paint aswell!!! just like small children :)
today i dont think we going to do so much, last day here... will go out and eat tonight, see what it will be, maybe kangaroo or crocodile! good to eat out for once, otherwise we cook our food everyday, and thats a little bit boring i think ;)
tomorrow, we leave Cairns for Mission Beach... what i understood its little bit on the country side where we supposed to live, so we will see if we have internet or not :P
anyway i will update you as soon as i can!!!

Great Barrier Reef...!
First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to mum...! dont know why she always have birthday when i am not home.. but as she told me that she is counting backwards all the years i havent been home on her birthday, so she is about 5 years younger now.... :) but hope you will get a really good day mum, thinking of you!!!
so, to this weeks biggest adventures this far at least... The great barrier reef..!
we got up early.. 6.30 and went to the ferry terminla to catch a one day trip diving and snorkeling..
We did three diffrent divesights today... on the two first ones i was diving :) been about 8 month since i dived last time, but it went fine..
i saw a lot of colourful fished, unfortunatly i am not so good in fishnames in english, not in swedish either :)
but for sure i saw the Nemo fish and then we also saw a blue spotted stingray (think thats the name, anyway it was a stingray)
On the third divesite me and sis meet up and went diving together, she had been doing her first intrductiondives on the two first stops, and because i have open water license, we did not dive together...
the snokling was also good!!
the watertemperature her is awesome, today= 28ºC in the water och 36ºC in the air... it was like swimming in a pool!! me like!
staying here in Cairns until friday when we leaving on the bus towards Mission beach, we stay there for three night before we go to Magnetic Island and stays there for an other three night... after that, we see.....

Happy Valentine's Day!! ♥
I wish you all my lovely family and friends a really good Valentine's Day!
We have spent the day by laying in the sun (33°C) and swimming in the pool (26°C), just lovely!!!!
We also booked diving on tuesday!! looking forward :)

long time...
we went to Melbourne after Sydney... a nice town, we went sightseeing = federation square, harbour town, botanic gardens, and a lot of more things...
we wanted to go to ACDC consert but twe did not have the budget for that :)
Melbourne was really nice, we also went one day to the queen victoria market and got a lot of fruits.. so in the evning we did a huge fruitsalad, for sure it would had been enough for 5 persons, but we shared it on two ;)
then yesterday we took the plane again to Cairns.. the airport feels like our home now, spent so much time in airport the last months... hihih!!
but i was a terrible flight for me, i dont know why but i went sick, my stomack did not wanna fly or something..anyway i had to the toilet like ten times during the flight and had to vomit, uhhh!!!
anyway we got here,and we really enjoying it!!! the hostel is good and have a pool :) its been sunny and really warm since we got here, so we mostly just been laying in the sun...and thats not to bad!!!!
while we are here i think we will go diving in the great barrier reef aswell!! and maybe do some more funny things..!
so, for sure it will not take that long until i write the next time..!

Sydney..!
But today we had decided we should see alittle of the town..
so we started walking and we were walking and walking.. some of the things we saw: Darling Harbour, Harbour Bridge, Botanic Gardens and of course the Opera House... it was cool, but i thought is were bigger then it was..! But it fun to have seen it :)
Tomorrow we fly to Melbourne, se what we will find out to do there :)
we will stay there at least 4 nights and then we see where to go next!

Hello Australia and Sydney...
Soo, here we are in Australia,,,
The flight went perfect, no snow , no delays :)
We arrived to Sydney airport about 18.20 and the wwe took a shutlle to our hostel, a small okey hostel close to Kings Cross..
today we havent done so much, been hellraining the whole day.. :( (maybe should have styed in NZ, no just kidding, this will be good aswell!)
but we booked a flight to Melbourne on monday, it was really cheap!!! me like!
and the we went to teh supermarket buying some food.. that pretty much evrything for today sofar..
Tomorrow we planing to see a little more of t etown, hopefully no rain... but we are in no rush, we will come back to Sydney before we departure to Malasysia..

What did we do?
Auckland: just walked around the city
Rotorua: White water rafting, Mud bath, cinema (Sherlock Holmes)
Waitomo: Black Water Rafting
Taupo: Tongariro Alpine Crossing (hiking 6 hours), SKYDIVE!!
Wellington: took the ferry to Picton
Picton: vistit Cole :) went kayaking, relaxing, BBQ, just spending time with some really nice people!
Nelson: hiking in Abel Tasman national park (2,5hours), vistit the center og NZ
Greymouth: nothing special just stayed there for one night
Franz Josef: Glacier hiking (6 hours), hot pools
Queenstown: Riverboarding, Party, relaxing, really nice town!
Lake Tekapo: Sooo beautiful place! spent a night there
Christchurch: Planing Australia, relaxing, walking around the town (little bit shopping :) )
thats a short version of all we did this month..!
So tomorrow afternoon we take the bus to go to Christchurch airport and take off to Sydney.. we are right now planing to stay at least three night there (we are coming back tehre before we go to Malasyia) and then i think we go to Melbourne, before we head up north....
Today we just been relaxing spending some time in the sun, working on that nice tan we going to have when we come back home again :) we slept long and then we went to the botanic gardens were we just sat down with the book and had a good time!! then back to the hostel for a shower and some food, before we went to this internetcafe to sit on internet for a while before we start packing our things for tomorrows flight!

Last stop Christchurch...!
but new country, new adventures :)
since i wrote the last time we been in Lake Tekapo, a absolutly amazing beautiful place!!! Actually took our first swim in the water here, it was cold!!!
we stayed there on night before we continued to Christchurch...
Christchurch is a big town, i dont like thats so much, but its actually kind of good shopping, too bad i am living out of a backpack :)
Here in Christchurch we try to plan our trip Australia.. what to do and what to see :)
think we will go from Sydney to Melbourne and then fly up to Cairns and then go with bus down on the east coast...
So, we see what happens, the plans can change!! :) but thats what backpacking is all about, travel like you feel like, take everyday as it comes...
