Last week in OZ is here..!
sorry, been really bad on updating you again :/
actually done little since i wrote last time..
day after surfing is was time to do surfing again but in a diffrent way... surfrafting!
up EARLY or at least it felt early :) heading down to the marina where we were told to be pick up 8am (in the morning). we saw a car with a raftboat on teh way down to the harbour and i said tio Elin, what if thats our boat, then its going teh wrong way.. Came down to the harbour no one is there.. after like 10 min waiting the car with the raftboat showed up and we were right, it was our boat.. he was told to pcik us up at teh hostel and we were told to be paick up in the harbour.. so typical.. anyway, we found it other and we weent down to the beach.. it was only me, Elin and the guide Matt.
he said that we were lycky today because after half our time it came a bus of school children and we went together with them and suddenly we had been out there for 5 hours instead of 3 like the tours was.. :)
really good fun!! you like sit in a raftboat, like teh one we had when we went white water rafting and then we paddle out to fine a "good" wave and then you tried to surf on that one in to the shore.. most of teh time it work and it goes really fast, but sometimes the waves is just to strong and the boat flips upside down.. and that kind of fun aswell!!!
I can tell you that we had a little bit a pain in our arms after five hours of surfrafting... ;)
The guide Matt told us that he could show us around coffs harbour that afternoon if we wanted to.. so he did...
first he took us to a waterfall that in the middle of the bush, we hade to sort of climb in there.. i hit my toe so it started bleeding, but what to do we had a lot of schratches and brushes after the surfing and the rafting anyway :) so it kind of fit in :) really beautiful place, we took a swim and then we went to the next place..
it was called the "look at me"- view point.. Here we saw our first kangeroos, wild!! and it was a lot of them!! so we sat down watching the sunset with the ocean and the kangeroos in the backround, stunning view!! (wish you were there!).
After that we went in to the rainforest and watched a really big tree and then some figtrees that you actually can climb in... cool!
When we were back in the hostel the time was 7pm and we were really tired, so after a awesome day, we ate some dinner and went straight to bed.. i think we were in bed and slept by 10 :)
So next day was time to travell again, and quite long this time.. we had a 6.5 hours busride to Newcastle and that took pretty much the whole day, with all the waiting.. We arrived to newcastle late so we went straight to bed..
sunday was spent by going to the supermarket and laying on the beach...
Newcastle itself is very boring so we thought we should do something and see a little of the surrondings. We booked a safari tour for monday.
So monday morning pick up 9am.. we went first on a dolphin cruise and we saw some dolphins.. we also got to sit in a net beside the boat while we was crusing. little bit cool!
then we went sandboarding.. we went on a 4WD bus just staraight out in the sand to a big sandbank, where they had sandboard and then we climbed up and went down on teh board.. kind of heavy for you legs to go uphill, and very sandy to get down.. it was fun but it was like going in the snow on a slide :)
Last stop for the day was shark and ray feeding place.. it was like 10 different tanks and you got some shrimps and squids to feed them with.. okey, but not very exciting..
we had a good day, but not worth the money... anyway, we got to se a little of the surrondings :)
Today its was our last bustrip here in OZ and it took us to Sydney.. when we got in to town, it was alittle bit wired to think that its 2 month since we were here last time! this time are we staying out at bondi beach.. today its raining unfortunatly but they told us it will be good soon again.. hope to see Mark and Arlene (the irish couple we travelled with before) again, they are soemwhere in town..
we wait and see how the weatehr will be before we decided what to do tha last days here in OZ..
tonight there is free dinner for us backpackers staying in YHA.. so i think we will go for that, we just had to buy a drink and we would get a free dinner.. se how it is, anyway it just nice to not cook ourselfs.. tired of that now :)

I am the queen of surfing.. :)
We are now in Coffs Harbour, it took us like 3 hours from Byron bay to get here!
its actually very diffrent from busy byron bay, but i like it here.. not so many tourists and quite! nice and realxing..
but no time to sit still for us :)
after a looong night with heavy headache, dont know why, get that sometimes :/ we woke up and got ready for our first surf lesson!! a lot of thoughts went around in our heads, what if we are really bad at this and make a fool of ourself or maybe we are really good without knowing it? :)
anyway we walked down to the harbour and when we got there we notice it was only me and elin..
after a short, i mean short (like 5 min), lesson on the beach.. we went in the water
The instructor told us that it was a little bvit hard today beacuse of strong waves... i was just thinking, this will never end good!!
so in the water we went with this 8 foot 6 long board, and got ready for the first wave to come...waiting, wainting, here it comes, getting ready, up on the board and almost standing!!! ehh, there is more chances, out again.. wait wait, and here the wave come, getting ready, up on the board.. and guess what?! i am standing!!!!!!! wee, not bad!
Like this we contuined for 2 hours! And i stood up most of the times actually!! little bit proud of my self ;) and the instructor asked if we did anything like this back home, because we were so good to be the first time!!! hihi
okey i admit, i fell sometimes aswell, have some pain in my hand, when i fell on a stone, some scratches (dont know how to spell that ) but thats how it is surfing... i will for sure do that more times (not hurting my hand, i mean surfing)!!
Afetr we finsihed surfing, we went down to the beach spending the day there!
tomorrow we have to go up early, have to be in the harbour by 8.. because we will go surf rafting!! dotn really know what it is, but it sounds a lot of fun!!!!
guess my body will be dead by tomorrow night after 2 month of holiday here in OZ basicly doing no exercising!!! :)
Trying to plan the next and last days here in OZ, think it will be nightbus from here on saturday to newcastle.. see how many nights we spend there before going to sydney and fly from there in 9 days, next sunday (is that 9 days??)

Byron bay...!
so far good weather, awesome waves and a really good beach! can it be better? :)
Yesterday evening we decided to go to the lighthouse here and watch the sunset, the lighthouse is high up on a hill with a really good view.. so it was a very beautiful! this is one of those moment you just wished you had some nice boy (or am i old enough to say man? ;) ) to share it with.. who knows maybe some day that luck will come to me? ;)
Otherwise its not happening so much here, sad goodbye to the canada boys for the last time..
We take the days as they comes and just relax.. try to catch as much sun as possible and just being on the beach..!
We have only 2 weeks left here in Australia now before we go to Malasyia and then back home, so we try to enjoy the holiday as much as we can, because as soon as we back home is back to work, and then we will need all this rest!!! hihi
Elin and me has started a new healthy style :) no, not really but we are walking every morning for one hour.. not so hard when you have a nice beach to walk on :) and from now on only sweets on Saturdays, like when you were young! and today its saturday, so we have been eaten som lovely chocolate, me like!!!

Is this the paradise...?
By the name it seems like a preety good chance it can be ;)
But first i will tell you little bit about the last days in Brisbane... To be a big city i really like Brisbane, but i think most of that was because we meet up with a lot of friends there..
As i told you earlier we meet upp with Mark and Arlene, but also with the 4 canadian lads we been hanging out with all the way from cairns.. so this thursday when it was Marks birthday (he turned 24 but dont say that to him :)..) we all decided to celebrate that, big time!! Me, Elin and Arlene went out the day before and bought new dresses! It was a really nice evening..! (you can see the pictures i am tagged in on face) and the next day i actually feelt a lot better then i deserved, and thats always a big +..
Yesterday was the last day in Brisbane, the canadian boys left to Surfers paradise and we said goodbye to them and then we just hang around the pool the whole day, we were a little bit tired after that great night the evening before..
So today we woke up in Brisbane, once agin packed our things (expert on packing a backpack) and headed down to the bustation to take the bus about 1 hour to Surfers Paradise.. Mark and Arlene went with us to the bustation where we unfortunatly had to say good bye! Little bit sad, hope to see those to some time in the future... we have had a lot of fun together!!!
So we arrived to surfers and we live little bit outside town, so tomorrow we will take the courtesy bus in to town and see if we find a good hostel closer to everything, we are planning to stay here for maybe 5 night or something, we will take it slow now, because we have a lot of time left here, before we need to go to sydney...
today is it a little bit cloudy but hope it will be better by tomorrow, so we can be on that giant beach thats here!

Loves the sun Brisbane...!
Since i write last time we been out on more adventures, Fraser Island..!
it was a three days/2 night self drive safari.. and that means tahts we were 9 persons (5 irish people, 1 german, 1 english and 2 swedish, good mix..!), two tents a lot of stuuf and food in a jeep driving around on a big sand island... maybe sounds wired, but it was al lot of fun!! we had rain two of the three days, so it wasa more of a mudbath... :)
everyhting was filled with sand and were wet..you wnet around in teh same clothes for three days but everone did the same, so no one cared... we sleept in tent with wild dingos (wild dogs) around the tent, real camping life!!!
When we got back we had like afetrparty in teh hostel with bbq and cider.. went early to bed tho, camping life gets you tired!!
The next day we continued our trip down to Noosa!! small cute town on the coast, i relaly liked it there.. here did we get our first sun for 2 weeks, weee!!! We spent 3 night in Noosa, haning on teh beach and relaxing, thats was what we needed after 1 week of adventures!!
Yesterday we decided to continue down to Brisbane, where we meet up with our new really good friends Mark and Arlene.. they will stay here working for a couple of month so last place we can meet them on this trip..
teh last days its been really good weather and we love it..spent the last two days at the pool on teh hostel...
this hostel is really nice, almost like a hotel, sompares to many other hostels, staying here until saturday at least, maybe longer,we will see....
have about 25 more days to spend here in Australia, so we will take it slow down the cost to Sydney, where we will fly to Malaysia the 4th of april..!
ohh, i probably have a lot of wrong spelling in this text, but i dont have the tme to correct it, so hopefully you all can understand anyway!!

We hade an awsome time, a lot of snorkelling, beautiful views and we visit the 3rd best beach in the world!!

Right now are we waiting for th bus to take us to Hervey bay, we will take the night bus and we save a night in an hostel :) true backpackerstyle! ;)
we will arrive to Hervey Bay tomorrow morning 06.50, frasier starts 07.00.. hihi, little short of time, but we make it!!
On frasier we will go on like self drive jeepsafari! in Hervey Bay we will meet up with Arlene and Mark, a really nice couple we meet earlier and we will go on fraiser together!
